(oo boon too) - Ubuntu is one of the most popular operating systems based on GNU/Linux at present. It is developed by Canonical, Ltd. which was started by Mark Shuttleworth. His goal in developing this operating system is to provide "Linux for Human Beings"—Ubuntu's motto. Ubuntu is particularly focused on being compatible with many different model and types of desktops and laptops.

85. UNIX
(yoo nix) - A computer operating system (OS) created by AT&T employees at Bell Labs in the late 1960's. UNIX has been used in an increasingly wide range of applications in many fields. UNIX has also been cloned/redeveloped by projects such as GNU, Minix, Linux, BSD, et al. Mac OS was originally a fork of one of these clones.

this is one of the many things that guys call each other in Egypt. Usually this is used when you don't know someone's name, or really anything about them.

(za ma lek) - الزمالك - a region of Cairo on Gezira Island in the middle of the Nile. This a pretty big tourist/expatriate area of the city because of its central location and because of the numerous bars and restaurants that can be found there such as the famous Abou el-Sid.
